nanjing_sedan02.JPGChina’s Nanjing Auto has an online catalogue containing images of past MG models dating back to the early part of the century. Flick through to the last couple of pages and you’ll notice these two images of possible future vehicles to be sold under the recently acquired MG label.

The renderings are obviously speculation but they show a design direction that looks very interesting for the reformed MG brand. The first model is a four-door sedan with coupe-like styling, the possible successor to the Rover 75 sedan. The other model is a future crossover vehicle based on the previous RDX60 concept from the defunct Rover. See the full catalogue over at the Nanjing website.

I for one would far rather see Nanging revive the famous old MGs. They should build the TC or the TD as it was. Perhaps an updated motor design so the motor would have the longevity common these days. But all else as original. Morgan can do it. An MG Nostalgia car i. e. a TC or TD would be a big hit here.
