A Lamborghini Aventador is a rare machine. Even more rare is the hardcore SV version of Lamborghini's biggest bull. Out back you'll find a 6.5-liter V-12 engine that produces nearly 750 horsepower. It can also dash from a stop up to 60 mph in around 2.8 seconds. One thing it can't do? Make sure that it's drivers don't do dumb things and wind up smashing their very expensive machines.

That's exactly what an owner in London has done to his flat black Aventador SV. According to The Sun, it seems the car is owned by a young student studying in the area. Eye witnesses reported seeing the Aventador SV possibly racing against another Lamborghini through the crowded London streets. Those streets happened to contain a Mercedes and a Vauxhall Astra, which became obstacles that the Lamborghini couldn't avoid.

The car is smashed up quite well.

According to The Sun, no one was injured, which is good to hear. Additionally, there have been no arrests. That part seems odd at first, but serious amounts of cash could be at play here or the cops are just finishing up their investigation. That's quite a bit of damage for a car driving on streets where speed limits should be quite low.

It appears that the Aventador will survive, and the owner will be stuck with a very large bill. Of course, if you can afford an Aventador SV, you can afford to fix it... or your father can.
