Last spring, we told you about the wonderful return of the Lister Knobbly. These were British sports cars essentially crafted as hopped-up Jaguars. The brand has been given new life, and Lister will produce continuation versions of fast, loud, and beautiful machine from the 50's.

The latest version is the Knobbly Stirling Moss Edition, and that car is set to make its US debut during Monterey Car Week at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

Why Sir Stirling? How dare you, sir or madam! Ahem, excuse me...

Moss gets his name on the limited edition of an already limited car because he drove the works version to a win at Silverstone back in 1958. Lister is building ten examples of this Stirling Moss Edition Knobbly, and will do so using the same specs of Moss' race car.

The body is made entirely from magnesium, which means it's lightweight. It also means keep it away from open flames, we assume. That's actually kind of terrifying, really.

Regardless, each car will cost $1 million. There will be a hand-signed plaque with Stirling's signature, and the man himself will personally hand over each car to its new owner.

If you're in the area, Lister plans to show off its car at the Spanish Bay Inn at Pebble Beach on Saturday, August 20th. The event will have Sir Stirling Moss on hand, and it all kicks off at 9:30 a.m.
