Being a celebrity definitely has its perks. The rich and famous collect cars the rest of us can only dream about, like the Mercedes-AMG G65, a G-Class SUV stuffed with a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-12. Not satisfied with merely securing one of these rare beasts, comedian Kevin Hart decided to modify his a little bit.

After adding some custom Forgiato wheels and extra window tint, Hart posted the results on Instagram. It's a big step up from the Hyundai Genesis Hart hawked in a Super Bowl commercial earlier this year. The G65 joins a collection of cars that includes a Ferrari [NYSE:RACE] 488 GTB.

The G65 can stand out in just about any car collection. Originally launched in 2012, it only recently made it to the United States. Its twin-turbo V-12 produces 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque, and the performance is impressive. Despite weighing almost 6,000 pounds, the G65 can do 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited to 143 mph.

The standard G-Class' off-road ability is preserved thanks to a raised ride height, transfer case, and three differential locks. A 7-speed automatic transmission connects the engine to this serious four-wheel-drive system. However, it's unlikely that Hart—or any other G65 owner—will actually venture off the pavement. It would be a shame to get the G65's luxuriously-appointed interior muddy, after all.

Meanwhile, actor and Top Gear host Matt LeBlanc recently made a notable car purchase of his own. He's apparently one of the first Americans to get the new 2016 Ford Focus RS. Rally driver Ken Block posted a photo of LeBlanc and the Focus RS on Instagram, saying "I approve of his decision."
