Retired NBA superstar Shaquille O'Neal probably doesn't need to work hard for the money these days—although his son is almost college-age—so it's safe to say that his surprise appearance behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Suburban as a Lyft driver was just for the fun of it.

And what fun Shaq has. As the video shows, he dresses up in costume for each of his pickups in the Atlanta area. Let's just conclude that his costumes were marginally more convincing in Kazaam... but that's really not saying much.

Shaq, who goes by names like Peter, Charles, Goose, and Pierre, has fun with his passengers. They rap together, they`sing together, and they laugh together when he reveals just who is behind the low budget costumes. The video also highlights Shaq's size. Just look at how much more real estate the 7'1 athlete takes up in the Suburban compared to his passengers.

The video might be a promotion for Lyft, but it still makes a good and entertaining watch. Shaq isn't the first celebrity to slip behind the wheel of a ride-sharing car, but he might be the most jolly. One thing's for sure, however: His Lyft driving skills aren't quite up to Danica Patrick's.
