If you needed any reminder that the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany is basically a busy highway, this video will do that for you.

Tucked in between the Seats and BMWs that normally make up 'Ring traffic are usually plenty of motorcycles. This lucky guy came out of a sharp corner a little too hot and wound up tapping the barrier. It looks like he was all right, however, since he was able to stay upright and keep moving.

The biker does a good job of distracting us from the DTM-themed BMW E30 that is also making its way around the world-renowned Nürburgring. Said to be the toughest racing track in the world, the 'Ring is now a popular tourist destination when it is not closed for competition.

This biker does hit the wall, which we hear in the video, and his save is about as impressive the one made by a Dodge Viper driver who narrowly avoided a barrier at a dragstrip a few months ago.

Of course, nothing we've seen recently compares to the insanity a few years ago when a rally co-driver sat under a vehicle's open hood to modulate the car's broken throttle cable by hand.
