2014 Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 used in
Now's your chance to be Jeremy Clarkson... or at least to sit in the same seat as he did.
The former Top Gear presenter drove the yellow Ford F-150 Raptor you see here in one of his final episodes on the popular BBC show (before the rather unceremonious parting of ways between Clarkson's team and the network).

In the particular episode starring the Raptor, Clarkson and James May flew to Canada to "rescue" fellow presenter Richard Hammond, who had activated a locator beacon. While May drove a stock Chevrolet Silverado HD, Clarkson showed up in a bright yellow Raptor that was anything but factory.

As Barrett-Jackson, which will auction off the truck for charity this weekend, indicates, the Raptor was modified by Hennessey Performance out of Houston. Now christened the VelociRaptor 600 (or available as a 650, depending on tune), the truck boasts a horsepower figure in line with its nameplate.

Hennessey upgraded the truck's supercharger, air induction, intercooler, fuel injection system, and engine management software to boost what was 411 horsepower to either 600 or 650 hp.
Proceeds from the sale of this particular truck will benefit the Paralyzed Veterans of America when it goes to auction Friday at Barrett-Jackson's annual Palm Beach, Florida, sale.
Let's just hope the sale includes a new set of tires.
