The 2016 New York Auto Show is in full swing and many of the major stars have been unveiled. At the top of the list is the 2017 Nissan GT-R, which sports a new look and some extra horsepower. We were thrilled to see that Nissan brought over some previous-generation GT-Rs to share the stage. They’re included in our live photos gallery.

Another hit was Mazda’s MX-5 Miata RF. The car is the new retractable hardtop version of the Miata but instead of a conventional design the team at Mazda has employed a cool fastback look.

One of the huge crowd favorites is the new Navigator concept from Lincoln. The big, flashy concept previews the design of the next-generation Navigator, which we’re expecting to be launched late next year. Don’t expect the concept’s gullwing doors to make it to production, though.

You'll find all of these stories and more in today's car news, right here at Motor Authority.
