Built as a tribute to the GT40 that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1966, the GT debuted in 2005 as a limited-run, 550-horsepower supercar. Now, just in time for the 50th anniversary of Ford's 1-2-3 win at Le Mans, Ford is reviving the GT as both a street car and race car. The plan is to compete and, hopefully, win at Le Mans and build a sleek supercar that will act as a halo for the brand.
