We've recently shown you that drifting is a bit harder than you might think. Imagine doing this tire-killing deed in a car designed to keep its occupants cossetted in supreme comfort and luxury. Imagine doing it in a vehicle that has engineers who enjoy adding in more weight rather than trying to shed it. What we're saying is, imagine going drifting... in a Rolls-Royce.

That's just what went down at an event called Japfest in Ireland. Driver Shane Lynch started with a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow and has worked with a number of folks to transform it into an absolutely devilish machine. The matte black paint works rather well and we love seeing the oddball fenders applied to such a machine.

Inside, the racing seats look downright luxurious and the billet Rolls-Royce logo-wearing brake lever is a work of art. It's still apparently packing the original 6.75-liter V-8 and, more amazingly, still rocking the three-speed automatic. That gearbox has been upgraded, however, with a unit that allows the driver to select one of the three gears at his choosing.

You're going to need to hop on over to SpeedHunters for all of the details on this one. It's a pretty amazing build.
