A legend is coming back, again. Ford Motor Company [NYSE:F] took us all by surprise in Detroit last January when it showed a new GT supercar that it intends to put into production next year.

We've heard its twin-turbo V-6 whistle under idle, and already learned it will likely have 630 horsepower and 539 pound-feet of torque.

Today, we get to see what is supposedly the production-intent car, courtesy of Ford GT Forums. While the differences between the "concept" and this car are slight, they're important.

Note the larger side mirrors, the marker lights on the front bumper, and that the front splitter on this example is now glossy black instead of matte black.

Someone mentioned the intakes on this production-intent GT might be larger than those of the concept, but we are unable to confirm that detail.

The new GT will go on sale next year with a supposed price tag of about $400,000.

Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
