The L.A. Auto Show doesn't officially start until Wednesday, but we've already got details on the new Sierra Denali Ultimate trim GMC will be debuting.

With the Denali Ultimate, GMC is hoping to take a bigger chunk of the lucrative premium full-size truck segment than the 15 percent it currently commands, and it's loaded up the "Cowboy Cadillac."

Along with upmarket appointments like contrasting-stitch leather, 12-way adjustable heated and cooled front passenger seats,  and a heated steering wheel, cabins are equipped with a laundry list of luxurious standard features.  One thing sure to resonate with buyers is the 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot, which will provide passengers with fast Internet while on the move, and allow buyers traveling to job sites a reliable connection for laptops, phones, and other peripherals.

Wireless charging is also available, though iPhone uses will need to use a special case to facilitate it. There's also Apple CarPlay capability, a Bose sound system, eight-inch-diagonal display, power-adjustable pedals, a power-sliding rear window, remote start system, and obviously, a rear-view camera.

Of course, the luxury touches don't stop at the cabin.

The exterior features chrome exhaust tips and tow hooks, body-colored bumpers, LED headlamps and taillamps, imposing chrome grille, and exclusive 22-inch wheels. But since the Denali is still primarily a truck, it also features a host of features designed to make hauling and towing easier. The bed—available in either 5’ 8” or 6’ 6”—comes ready for work with a factory spray-in bed liner, and there's also an integrated trailer brake controller, which allows drivers to tune the braking strength proportional to the trailer's weight.

Another innovative feature standard on the Denali Ultimate is General Motor's Company's [NYSE:GM] magnetic ride control system, which has been utilized on the Cadillac CTS-V, Chevrolet Corvette, and even licensed to Ferrari. The technology allows the suspension to adjust to road conditions in as little as five-milliseconds, and should dramatically improve the truck's ride.

"Base" Ultimate editions feature a 5.0-liter V-8 mated to an eight-speed transmission, though a 6.2-liter, with 420-horsepower and 460-pound-feet of torque is available.

The 2016 Sierra Denali Ultimate will hit dealers in early 2016. Stay tuned for live shots from the floor, and for more info on the L.A Auto Show, head to our dedicated hub
