On Friday, we took a look at Hennessey Performance's latest VelociRaptor SUV. With room for eight and more than 600 horsepower on tap, the Texas tuner's F-250 Lariat-based people mover is just perfect for carpool commandos with zero time to spare. In the best way possible, it's like towing a howitzer to a paintball range.

And today, we found video of Ford Motor Company's [NYSE:F] smaller F-150 equipped with Hennessey's HPE600 supercharger package tearing up the dyno. Between the 5.0-liter V-8 and the forced induction, the beefy Blue Oval truck is putting down 538 horsepower and 423 pound-feet of torque at the wheels. It's the same system used on all the F-150-based VelociRaptor variants, and predictably, it sounds like a beast.

Obviously, nobody needs a pickup truck with this much power. But we're sure glad to live in a world where they exist. Enjoy.
