Vaughn Gittin Jr and pretty much any Ford Mustang are a match made in tire-shredding heaven. His latest rubber assault vehicle is the 2015 Mustang RTR that he'll use to do battle against others in the upcoming Formula Drift season. It's not quite time for that yet, and there's still a chill in the air in certain parts of the country. That cold clearly isn't enough to bother Mr. Gittin Jr though, since you can always fit studded tires to your drift mobile and hit the ice.

This is just a teaser video to show off Gittin's latest livery. It's also useful at showing off a bit of nose that will be coming out of his Mustang all season long. Based on the engine Gittin helped stuff into Ken Block's Hoonicorn, we're going to guess that there's a massive Roush Yates race motor under there. It makes great sound, and clearly makes tremendous power.

This Mustang, along with all of the other cars and drivers, should make for quite an interesting 2015 Formula Drift season. Chris Forsberg looks to defend his 2014 Championship win, while Tanner Foust rejoins the fun with a ridiculously overpowered Volkswagen Passat.

Gitten will have his work cut out for him this year, but his car will look and sound great while its sideways. Leave the studded tires at home though, please.
