Driving a Porsche 918 Spyder anywhere would be an awesome time for pretty much everyone. Taking that ultra-exotic and letting it loose on snow covered ice would up the fun quotient by many orders of magnitude of fun. That's what the team over at GT Spirit did recently, and thankfully the brought their cameras.

The car is wearing snow tires with claws: a set of 6mm spikes protrude from the rubber, which certainly helps the powerful Porsche gain traction. Still, it's ice, which means the tail is going to hang out and we assume massive smiles are spreading across the face of driver and passenger.

Now, as fun as that may be we know first hand that you don't need the spikes. Take a powerful, rear-wheel-drive exotic machine with good snow tires, and the world is your wintery white oyster.
