Mercedes-Benz has a new ad that attacks your idea of a dream car. Well, maybe an attack on the idea that children still dream of the Porsche 911 and not, you know, seeing the new Spongebob movie. Regardless, the 911 is most definitely the target of many automotive aspirational dreams. Mercedes thinks they have a car that should replace that dream, and it's called the AMG GT.
The ad is proof that a simple concept can have a strong affect on people. Porsche fans are absolutely going to hate on this ad, yet Benz fans should stand up and cheer. The tri-star brand truly has a machine that rivals the standard by which sports cars are measured. Both sides can react however they feel is necessary but the truth is that both cars deserve a place in the race tracks and canyon roads of your dreams.
