Porsche has revealed its new 911 Carrera GTS, which goes on sale later this year as a 2015 model. Available in both coupe and convertible bodystyles, the arrival of the new Carrera GTS brings the number of 911 variants to 19—and Porsche isn’t done yet.

A senior Audi exec has revealed that the next-generation R8 could feature a plug-in hybrid drivetrain. The technology was previewed in Lamborghini’s Asterion concept car, which shares a platform with the new R8.

Monaco-based Venturi has revealed a 407-horsepower electric beach buggy. It’s called the America and it costs half a million dollars.
