The first-ever sanctioned electric car race took place in Beijing, China on Saturday, and it proved to be quite a buzz (no pun intended). On the final corner of the final lap, a huge crash took place that saw former Formula One driver Nick Heidfeld shoot into the air and eventually land upside down.

Ford engineers are hard at work developing the first high-performance variant of the sixth-generation Mustang family. The new variant will be badged a GT350 and we hear it will come packing a unique 5.2-liter V-8 engine equipped with a flat-plane crankshaft.

A test mule for the next-generation Rolls-Royce Phantom has been spotted again, and this time our photographers managed to get a few snaps of the interior. Although development of the car is still in the very early stages, we can see a few elements that are likely to appear on the final version due in about three years.
