The Vanquish is the latest Aston Martin to receive the automaker's Carbon special edition treatment, with both the Vanquish coupe and Vanquish Volante convertible now available to order in Carbon Edition trim. Like the DB9 Carbon Edition launched at the 2014 New York Auto Show, the Vanquish Carbon Edition comes with the choice of black or white exteriors as standard, although customers are free to choose any color combinations they desire.

The cars also feature unique elements for the exterior and cabin, such as carbon side strakes, darkened window surrounds, darkened headlight eyebrows, and the choice of red, yellow, gray or black brake calipers. As a final touch for the exterior, the Vanquish Carbon Edition comes with distinctive 10-spoke alloy wheels coated in a black gloss finish.

Inside, a mixture of dark leather, Alcantara and carbon fiber can be found. The rotary dials on the center console receive a black gloss finish and surrounding these is a carbon fiber fascia with a Herringbone pattern. More carbon fiber is used for the door sill treadplates and the final touch is black anodized speaker grilles for the Bang & Olufsen sound system. Of course, should you desire more personalization, there is always the Q by Aston Martin studio to contact.

No changes have been made to the powertrain, but the 2015 model year sees some worthy upgrades for the Aston Martin flagship. Output from the car’s 6.0-liter V-12 now rates at 568 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque, up from 565 hp and 457 lb-ft previously, and the six-speed transmission has been replaced with a brilliant eight-speeder from ZF. The good news is that the transmission still sits on the rear axle for optimal weight distribution.
