Auto show season is almost here, and there are plenty of new cars waiting for their turn under the lights. One of the biggest events will be the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show in November.

It may be just over three months away, but organizers already have 25 world premieres lined up. These will include new production and concept cars from: Acura, Audi, BMW, Chrysler, General Motors, Hyundai, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Scion, Toyota, Volvo, and Volkswagen. That's a record number global debuts for the L.A. show.

In addition to the debuts already scheduled, show organizers expect other manufacturers to confirm plans in the coming months. Other cars and trucks previously unveiled at other shows will make their North American debuts in L.A. as well, for a total of around 60 reveals.

This early in the game, it's hard to say exactly which vehicles will debut in L.A. Organizers say they'll range from "flagship SUVs and ultra luxury sedans to new compact entries and zero-emission production and prototype debuts."
