Ferrari has revealed all the details on its latest specially-built, limited-run model--the F12 TRS. It's an open-top, minimalist take on the F12 Berlinetta and said to cost around $4.2 million... but it's stunning, and like the regular F12, very fast.

It's a week of special-run cars, it seems--Jaguar has confirmed it's to produce the Project 7 roadster. Based on the F-Type and inspired by Jaguar's race-winning D-Types of the 1950s, Project 7 takes power to 575 horses and deliveries begin mid-2015. You can watch the video here.
Little and large have both won prizes at this year's International Engine of the Year competition. Ford's tiny 1.0 Ecoboost three-cylinder has taken the overall gong for the third year in a row. At the other end of the scale, the Ferrari 458 Speciale's V-8 took the 4.0-liter and above prize.
Talking of Ferraris (and 458s), we've had a drive in the 2014 458 Spider. It features a 562-horsepower V-8, a retractable hard top, beautiful styling... yep, it's pretty much as good as you think it is.
