While most drivers won't ever get a chance to strap into a prototype and blast around Le Mans' Circuit de la Sarthe, nearly everyone can experience that legendary track in Forza Motorsport 5 for Microsoft's Xbox. Most of them could probably use a little coaching.

Who better to do that than nine-time Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen? The Danish Audi driver dissects the perfect lap of Le Mans here, covering everything from braking points to gear selection. He reckons it takes 400 of these laps to win.

Kristensen narrates over in-game footage of an Audi R18 e-tron quattro lapping the circuit, taken from 30 players whose combined efforts were able to produce that perfect lap.

Things haven't been going that smoothly for Kristensen and the rest of the Audi team at the actual 24 Hours of Le Mans. Kristensen shares the #1 R18 with Loïc Duval, who crashed violently during practice yesterday. Duval reportedly escaped with only minor injuries. That accident and others caused the session to be cut short, with only 50 minutes of the planned two hours completed.

The remaining grid positions for the 82nd 24 Hours of Le Mans will be decided tonight ahead of the race on Saturday. Audi managed to rebuild the car last night, so Kristensen, and teammates Lucas Di Grassi and Marc Gené (replacing Duval for now) will be ready for the second qualifying session.
