Aston Martin is in the midst of a major expansion of its motorsports program, and hopes to advertise that fact to its U.S. customers and fans with a party at one of sport's most iconic venues. The 2014 Aston Martin Motorsports Festival will coincide with the fourth round of the company's North American GT4 Challenge spec series at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

Set to take place over Labor Day weekend (August 30 and 31) the event will be open to Aston owners and racers, as well as fans of the brand. Owners will have an opportunity to drive their cars on the track, while those not lucky enough to have an Aston key in their pocket will be able to ride in a GT race car.

The festival will be run by TRG-AMR, otherwise known as The Racers Group, which also organizes the GT4 Challenge. That series pits drivers against each other in identical race-prepped Vantage models in seven events around the U.S. and Canada.

That V8 Vantage-based GT4 will likely be on display, along with the rest of Aston's current race and road car lineup.

Tickets start at $20 per day, while VIP hospitality options start at $275. For more information, contact the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca ticket office at 800-327-7322, or at MazdaRaceway.com.
