Called a “BigFoot” video by its creator, YouTube user MaxxUK, this video recasts Ayrton Senna’s famous drive around Suzuka in a Honda NSX with an emphasis on Senna’s footwork.

Why? Because the pedals don’t just make the car go faster or slower. They can help turn the car by managing weight balance and, of course, power application to the drive wheels.

MaxxUK enhanced the video by enlarging the view of Senna’s feet, using an improved-resolution source, and ensuring the audio and video were in perfect sync. The result is the best version of a video we’ve loved to watch—and one that’s much more informative for a driver who wants to better understand the importance of coordinating their hands with their feet for on-the-limit performance driving.
