Each year, Aston Martin together with auction house Bonhams organizes a sale at its historic home in Newport Pagnell of some of its classic models. Now in its 15th year, the auction, known as the Bonhams’ Aston Martin Sale, is scheduled to take place this weekend, and there are plenty of interesting cars going under the hammer.

Just some of the cars up for grabs include a 1970 Aston Martin DBS featured in British television show The Persuaders!, a 1961 Aston Martin DB4 that was upgraded to GT Zagato specification, a 1970 Aston Martin DB6 Mk2 Volante and a 1953 Aston Martin DB 2/4 previously owned by the likes of David Brown and Peter Collins.

The DBS is coming to the market for the first time in decades. It featured in almost every episode of The Persuaders! and features the signatures of the show’s stars, Roger Moore and Tony Curtis, inside its trunk lid. The Zagato, meanwhile, isn’t one of the original 19 DB4 GT Zagatos but has been built to the exact specifications of the originals.

As for the DB6 Mark 2 Volante, it is one of only 21 examples ever built. Finally, the DB 2/4 was originally purchased by David Brown as a drophead coupe. He later converted it to a droptop and then sold it to British racing driver Peter Collins.

Around 50 Aston Martins are expected to go under the hammer at the auction, which takes place on May 17 at the Aston Martin Works facility in Newport Pagnell.
