Autozone's latest ad for Duralast brakes takes a different approach, though. It features mixed martial arts fighter Chuck Liddell, who punches things, headbutts a wrecking ball, and then drives off a cliff. You know, to show how tough those brakes are.

While it may not meet any SAE standard, and probably isn't the normal procedure for any manufacturer, this testing regimen answers the questions of real car buyers, such as "Can these brakes stop my car in midair so I can jump out and walk away from a cool explosion?"
