But the turbocharging system fitted on the One:1 is unlike any other in production, as Koenigsegg CEO and founder Christian von Koenigsegg explains in the latest episode of Inside Koenigsegg from YouTube channel /DRIVE.
There are two separate turbochargers, both of which are created using a 3D printer. Incredibly, the moving parts of the turbo are printed within the enclose chamber, which has never been done before.
The patented-design allows boost pressure that is delivered without any spikes, which in turn allows for a relatively flat torque curve through the rev range and linear power delivery as you can see in the dyno chart in the gallery above.
