We’ve just driven the 2015 BMW i8 and found that it’s more of a touring car than a pure performance thoroughbred, despite it offering head-turning, supercar-like styling. We’re confident nonetheless that BMW will have no problem selling all the i8s it plans to bring into the country.

Word on the street is that Chevrolet will offer a manual transmission and some other updates on its 2015 SS muscle sedan. A debut is expected to take place at the 2014 Woodward Dream Cruise in mid-August.

Photos of an almost production-ready version of Volkswagen’s New Midsize Coupe concept have surfaced, just a week after we first laid eyes on the concept. The production version maintains the stylish lines of the concept, but sadly the car is expected to be sold exclusively in China.

You'll find all of this and more in today's car news headlines from around the High Gear Media network, right here at Motor Authority.
