The Smart ForTwo is the butt of many jokes, often for good reason. Recently, it's even become the target of some malicious practical jokers in San Francisco. This is one Smart car that's not taking any guff, however.

Okay, so it's a purpose-built drag car with a Smart ForTwo's carapace thrown over the top, so it's not really a Smart car anymore. Mark Cryer's work on this crazy combination of things large and small deserves some praise. The 462-cubic-inch Chevy V-8 smart car is quick, running 11.72 at 114.43 mph in its second test run. But even if it weren’t quick, it’d be one of our favorite drag cars anyway, just because it’s so improbable.
