Three of eight historic Corvettes that fell into a sinkhole under the National Corvette Museum last month are back on solid ground following a delicate removal process this week. Once removed, the cars were shipped over to a special department within General Motors Design in Warren, Michigan where they’re currently being restored.

A second trailer for the upcoming movie Transformers 4: Age Of Extinction has been released. This one contains two-and-a-half minutes of action.

Germany’s Gumpert, fresh out of insolvency, is ready to start building insane performance machines once again. Its latest creation is called the Explosion, and it’s packing a four-cylinder engine with 420 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque.

You'll find all of this and more in today's car news headlines from around the High Gear Media network, right here at Motor Authority.
