Audi has launched its first-ever S3 Cabriolet and the car is a likely candidate for the U.S. market. Based on the A3 Cabrio already confirmed for local sale, the S3 Cabrio gets a standard quattro all-wheel-drive system, sports suspension and a 300-horsepower engine under the hood.

A prototype for the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze, the second generation of Chevy’s popular compact sedan, has been spotted once again. Heavy camouflage has been replaced with a body-hugging wrap that reveals many of the new car’s lines.

Gordon Murray, the genius designer of several Formula One championship-winning cars as well as the legendary McLaren F1, has revealed a ton of information on his future plans. One juicy tidbit is the revelation that he wants to launch a new supercar capable of outmatching the Ferrari LaFerrari and McLaren P1.

You'll find all of this and more in today's car news headlines from around the High Gear Media network, right here at Motor Authority.
