General Motors’ European outfit Opel is working on a hardcore version of its Astra OPC. Opel hasn’t revealed all the details on the new Astra OPC Extreme just yet, but the company says weight has been reduced compared to the standard model through the use of carbon fiber.

Known as the P1--and also by its longer name, the "Egger-Lohner electric vehicle, C.2 Phaeton model", Porsche has liberated the 115-year-old car from a warehouse, where it has lain unused and dormant since 1902.
