Cadillac’s rival to the likes of the BMW 7-Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class has finally been spotted. The car is based on a brand new rear-wheel-drive platform dubbed the Omega, and is tipped to wear an LTS badge.

Lincoln’s Navigator is seven years old but the big body-on-frame SUV isn’t being overhauled just yet. Instead, a heavily updated version is being introduced for the 2015 model year.

Volkswagen’s 290-horsepower Golf R not hardcore enough for you? Never fear, because it looks like a more potent Golf R Evo model is in the works.

You'll find all of this and more in today's car news headlines from around the High Gear Media network, right here at Motor Authority.
