It’s been a busy second day at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, with a handful of automakers having already presented some new cars this morning. One of the highlights was the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe, which has been designed to be lighter, more agile and more engaging than any of its competitors.

We also learned that the 2015 Ford Mustang has already been signed up for its first movie appearance. It will be featured in the upcoming Need For Speed movie, which is also set to feature a 2014 model.

MINI used the Detroit Auto Show this week to present a concept previewing its next high-performance John Cooper Works model. Though officially a concept, the vehicle on show in Detroit looks production ready.

You'll find all of this and more in today's car news headlines from around the High Gear Media network, right here at Motor Authority.
