A mysterious prototype for what's alleged to be a new Ferrari race car has been spotted in Italy. The prototype appears to be based on Ferrari’s latest LaFerrari supercar but it is substantially wider than the Ferrari flagship and its rear section is different. Some suggestions for the prototype’s identity include a new Le Mans prototype or a mule for Ferrari’s 2014 Formula One engine.

Audi has finally confirmed that its Q3 will go on sale in the U.S. in the fall of this year. Unfortunately the version of the compact crossover shown by Audi, presumably the one we’ll seen in showrooms, is about to be superseded by a facelifted model.

We still don’t know what the 2015 Audi TT will look like, though we have a fairly good idea thanks to some revealing spy shots. However, we do know what the car’s interior will be like, as Audi previewed the design at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week.

Kia this week released a new image of the striking sports car concept it plans for the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. The concept is the GT4 Stinger, a rear-wheel-drive 2+2 coupe powered by a 315-horsepower 2.0-liter turbo four.

Volvo this week revealed its Concept XC Coupe, a crossover concept built on the automaker’s new modular SPA platform and showcasing the design of the 2015 XC90 due out at the end of the year. The Concept XC Coupe will make its debut on Monday at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.

Mercedes-Benz will also be showing a new crossover in Detroit this coming week, the 2015 GLA45 AMG. What’s immediately noticeable upon first seeing the photos is just how low the vehicle is compared to the regular GLA-Class on which it’s based.

The Radical RXC Turbo joined the rest of the British automaker's road-biased RXC range at Autosport International, packing a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged Ford EcoBoost V-6. That engines produces 454 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque--in a vehicle weighing just 2,000 pounds.
