Following the success of its previous Exclusive Concept based on the A8 L W12 luxury sedan, Audi recently rolled out a new version based on its updated 2015 A8. Audi Exclusive is the personalization service for the brand with the four rings, offering customers of its cars upgrades such as special colors, unique interior trim details and custom body and wheel enhancements.

For the latest A8 L W12 Exclusive Concept, the designers at Audi have pulled out all the stops. Premium aniline leather in Agatha cognac is used throughout most of the interior. Sourced from the tradition-laden Italian designer furniture maker Poltrona Frau, this leather is particularly soft and natural looking.

The center sections of the seats feature diamond quilting, and the inlays on the dash and center console feature natural wood with a fine grain olive ash finish. The gray-brown shade of the wood was selected as it matches the granite gray piping, stitching and central pleat of the seats.

The shade granite gray is also found on the steering wheel, along the doors and on the upper section of the instrument panel, which is covered with fine Nappa leather. The headlining is in white Alcantara, while the rear shelf is covered with cognac brown Alcantara. Finally, designers added extra plush carpet in a gray finish.

The A8 L W12 Exclusive Concept will be built in a limited run of 50 units, starting from March 2014, and all of these are likely earmarked for the European market. Audi’s 6.3-liter W-12, good for 500 horsepower, will be the only available engine.
