As we’ve reported on a number of occasions, Volvo will slowly replace its entire engine lineup with powerplants featuring no more than four cylinders. Recently, we were able to test some of Volvo’s next-generation engines, called the Drive-E set. They’ll be coming soon, debuting in models like the 2015 S60 and its 2015 V60 wagon cousin.

Caterham’s new AeroSeven concept previews a track car the company will be launching next year. The new track car isn’t the model Caterham is developing together with Renault but some styling themes will be shared between them.

French automaker Peugeot appears to be working on a new hot hatch to rival the likes of the Volkswagen GTI and Ford Focus ST. We’ve got the first spy shots of a prototype.
