The racing version of the seventh-generation Corvette made a surprise showing at this past weekend’s 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Though heavily camouflaged, it’s clear the new race car, whose official title is C7.R, will closely resemble its road-going cousin.

Toyota has revealed its new Yaris Hybrid-R concept ahead of the vehicle’s official debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show. The concept features race car technology and is said to be good for 400 horsepower.

Our spies have spotted more prototypes for Honda’s Civic Type R. While the car isn’t due until 2015, Honda has already started the marketing campaign with a new teaser video.
