There's no doubt that Sabine Schmitz is Queen of the 'Ring. She runs her Ring Taxi Porsche 997 around that stretch of German tarmac in around 7 minutes and 30 seconds with a passenger onboard.

The girl can flat out drive the wheels of pretty much anything. Recently, she was challenged by another 'Ring veteran, Ron Simons.

This gent is the owner of RSR Nürburg, which is an exotic vehicle rental service that hands over high-end machines for customers looking to get busy on the Nürburgring.

The two came together in another head-to-head video. This time the action unfolds at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. Ron has lined up a pair of BAC Mono mad machines for each of them, and the task is to set the best lap time they can while dodging traffic. The weather isn't ideal but each driver is very skilled.

The footage is wonderful, and we especially love when the two drivers head to the bar to chat about their respective laps. It's good natured fun being doled out by two wonderful drivers. We can only hope for more such head-to-head battles between Sabine and Ron. There are plenty more cars, and plenty more tracks for these two to apply their skills. For now though, we'll raise a glass and cheer each for another job well done.
