The guys from Dallas-based auto restoration shop Gas Monkey Garage, the stars of Discovery Channel’s Fast N’ Loud series, have a special 1976 Chevrolet Caprice that they’re giving away for charity.

The car will be entered in a raffle, with each of the tickets costing just $5, and a portion of the proceeds will be handed over to the Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch, an educational park that also happens to be home to more than 100 exotic animals.

The particular Caprice is the same one Gas Monkey Garage's Richard Rawlings and Aaron Kaufman built and raced in the Gumball 3000 and Bullrun rallies a few years back. Before the rallies, the guys installed a 6.0-liter V-8 from a 2008 Cadillac Escalade engine and decked out the car with a new sound system, uprated brakes and a 460LE transmission.

In one of the rallies, the car was clocked at a top speed of 163 mph.

In case you’re unfamiliar with Gas Monkey Garage, it is an auto restoration shop based in Dallas, Texas, and is run by Rawlings with a little help from Kaufman, his master mechanic. Together, the duo find abandoned classic cars dating back to the 1920s and bring them back to life and back on the road.
