The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray can achieve up to 30 mpg as delivered from the factory (when equipped with the 7-speed manual transmission) and earns an EPA highway rating of 29 mpg. Can any other car challenge the Corvette's combination of power and efficiency?

Acura's 2015 TLX has been spied in testing, expected to fill the space between the current ILX and RLX. As such, it could replace both the TL and TSX, using a V-6 engine and available SH-AWD in a mid-size sedan body.

The Infiniti Q50 follows a similar formula, but is packaged in crisp lines and sleek curves that raise expectations as well as pulses. Will the Q50 live up to the hype? We don't have long to wait now to find out.

You'll find all of this and more in today's car news headlines from around the High Gear Media network, right here at Motor Authority.
