The Maserati Ghibli is the brand's newest addition to its sedan range, and it's an enticing package: a choice of two Ferrari-built turbo V-6 engines for the U.S. (though we will miss out on the diesel), packaged with 325 to 404 horsepower--and wrapped in typically gorgeous Maserati sheet metal, of course.

The Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50° Anniversario made its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show, and we have live photos and video from its debut. While it's not the most extreme Aventador-based creation yet, it's certainly not your average bear.

Acura was also at the Shanghai show, revealing a new compact crossover concept. Aimed at the same segment as the BMW X1 and upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLA, the new concept, dubbed SUV-X, hasn't been confirmed for production outside China, though Acura has said it was designed with global use in mind.

You'll find all of this and more in today's car news headlines from around the High Gear Media network, right here at Motor Authority.
