The 2013 New York Auto Show has just got underway, and already some of the major attractions have made their presence known. Overnight, cars like the new 2014 Cadillac CTS, 2015 Audi A3 and S3 and the CLA45 AMG were revealed, but there’s so much more to come.

One of the most anticipated debuts is that of the Subaru WRX concept, a stunning new coupe that previews the next-generation of the rally legend.

Land Rover’s new Range Rover Sport also made its debut overnight. The new model adopts lightweight aluminum construction, which means it now weighs around 800 pounds less than the outgoing model.

We also got to try BMW’s new three-cylinder engine, a turbocharged 1.5-liter unit, in a test car. That test car just so happened to be a European-spec 1-Series hatchback.

You'll find all of this and more in today's car news headlines from around the High Gear Media network, right here at Motor Authority.
