Lexus finally unveiled the new 2014 IS at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, and it wasn't kidding when it said its styling was going to get aggressive.

The new IS sports Lexus' new design language with the boldest interpretation of the brand's new "spindle grille" that we've seen yet. The headlights feature separate L-shaped daytime running lights, while out back the LED talilights wrap around the rear end.

Inside, the new IS features a driver-centric dashboard with an LFA-inspired design.

The IS will once again be offered in IS 250 and IS 350 trims, but there's also a new IS 300 Hybrid model which won't be sold in the U.S. market. A new F Sport trim will join the lineup and will be available for both the 250 and 350 models.

The IS 250 is powered by a 2.5-liter V-6 engine rated at 200 horsepower, and the IS 350 is powered by a 306-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6. Both engines are paired with the company's eight-speed automatic transmission.
