It's no surprise, but the arrival of the 2014 Ford Mustang configuration tool confirms it: there
will be no 2014 Mustang Boss 302. If you missed your chance, well, tough.
The ten models that are available include:
- Mustang V6
- Mustang V6 Premium
- Mustang V6 Convertible
- Mustang V6 Premium Convertible
- Mustang GT
- Mustang GT Premium
- Mustang GT Convertible
- Mustang GT Premium Convertible
- Mustang Shelby GT500
- Mustang Shelby GT500 Convertible
These ten models span a base price range from $22,200 for the standard V6 on up to $59,650 for the Shelby GT500 Convertible. All models come standard with a six-speed manual transmission, HID headlamps and LED sequential tail lights.
The GT500 is the obvious enthusiast choice, but you might be surprised at how fun-to-drive the Mustang GT and even the base V6 models are, too--even if the Camaro did beat the Mustang in sales for 2012 (by a slim margin).
For more details on the (essentially identical) current 2013 Ford Mustang, read the full review at The Car Connection.
