Nissan is planning a new version of its GT-R-powered Juke-R. This time the vehicle has been branded a NISMO project, which means we’re likely to see the performance bar lifted even higher. The full reveal is coming in a couple of weeks but a teaser photo has been released today.

The Ford Motor Company [NYSE:F] has finally confirmed its return to Le Mans, and along with the confirmation we got our first look at the new race car the Blue Oval will be using. Naturally, the new race car is based on the GT supercar that will be launching on the market next year.

Tesla Motors [NSDQ:TSLA] CEO Elon Musk has confirmed that the electric car company’s Model X SUV will arrive in the next three to four months. The vehicle was originally due last year, but Musk and his team are working hard to ensure there aren’t any further delays.

You’ll find all of these stories and more in today’s car news, right here at Motor Authority.
