Last year Rolls-Royce launched a new certified pre-owned vehicle program called Provenance that was aimed at helping to take the worry out for anyone considering spending the huge sums that even a used Rolls-Royce commands. Today the automaker has launched a new app that should make finding your ideal used Rolls-Royce much easier.

The new app is called the Provenance Pre-owned Stock Locator and it is available for the iPad, most smartphones as well as PCs and Macs. Benefits include easy-to-navigate search filters, as well as features that allow users to make direct car-by-car comparisons.

For example, users can choose to search for cars within a specific country, then filter down into model, age, mileage, budget or color. Using its ‘My Provenance’ feature they can also sign-up for alerts and be notified via email and SMS when search criteria have been met.

Only the finest examples of used Rolls-Royce models make the Provenance grade. To be classified under the scheme, a car has to meet exacting criteria set by Rolls-Royce and its team of factory-trained technicians, which fully road test all the cars when grading them.

Cars must also have been maintained in strict adherence to Rolls-Royce servicing requirements to just be considered, and then they are only sold through certain authorized Rolls-Royce dealerships. The benefit to buyers is that Provenance cars include two years’ warranty and two years’ complimentary servicing.

If this sounds good to you, you can access the Provenance Pre-owned Stock Locator on Rolls-Royce’s homepage (www.rolls-roycemotorcars.com) or via the many separate dealer websites.
