Aerosmith front man and now-former American Idol judge Steven Tyler is also a car guy and a motorcycle guy. Like the rest of us, he enjoys hitting up car and motorcycle shows as his schedule permits; the difference is, we don’t get to show off our $1.1 million Hennessey Venom GT Spyder at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Tyler recently took delivery of the open-top Hennessey supercar, which boasts three power settings (up to 1,200 horsepower) for its twin-turbo, 427-cubic-inch V-8 engine. Since music is Tyler’s life, his car also sports a custom audio system designed and tuned by David Frangioni, formerly an audio engineer for Aerosmith but now the CEO of Audio One.

Italian website 0-100 tells us that Tyler will be attending this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance to show off his latest automotive acquisition and likely to promote Hennessey’s products to show attendees. While the supercar builder will gladly make a Venom GT Spyder for anyone with the price of admission, Tyler’s car is one of one built at the moment.

This year marks the second year of Hennessey's participation in the annual high-end car show. Last year, Hennessey exhibited the first Venom GT delivered to a customer in the United States at Pebble Beach.

We’ll be attending this weekend’s Pebble Beach festivities, so check back with us for stories and images of the cars (and celebrities with cars) we spot there.
