While the Lexus IS F is, admittedly, not the most exciting of production-cars-turned-race-cars, this lap shows some very good endurance racing action--and one phenomenal bit of driving.

The wheelman is Kazunori Yamauchi, and while he does nothing particularly spectacular during this long and winding lap, if you pay close attention to his hands, and the general attitude of the car as he eats up pavement and passes competitors, you'll see something truly special.

With smoothness and consistency that would make Jenson Button jealous, Yamauchi calmly and quickly nips apexes, negotiates the line with slower traffic, and generally presents a minimalist's master class in composed and fast track driving.
