The crew here at Motor Authority would like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable fourth of July break, as well as remind everyone that we will be  back as normal with all the latest news from tomorrow.

Despite the festivities that are sure to be taking place today, there is still some breaking news to report on right now however.

Two future vehicles were spotted testing in Europe overnight, the 2014 BMW X5 M, which is already into the prototype stage, and the 2015 Smart ForFour, which is still just a very early test mule.

We also found out that Honda will be sending a unique version of its CR-Z hybrid hatchback to the competitive world of Super GT racing in Japan, and the fourth-generation of the Renault Clio has made its debut in France.
